F"I started acting professionally in 1995, but my big break came in 1999 with the movie Endtime. That film made me a well-known face in Nigeria and across Africa. Back then, Nollywood was just growing, and we had to work with little support. We told stories that touched people deeply, and I became popular for my roles in spiritual and strong emotional movies like The Last Burial and Billionaire’s Club.

Today’s generation has it better—there’s more funding, better equipment, and more attention from around the world. But I believe our time helped shape Nollywood into what it is now.

Sadly, I had to pause acting because of a serious health issue that affected my back. It was a very hard time, but I’m grateful for life and for those who stood by me through it all.

Even though I’m no longer active on screen, Nollywood will always remain a big part of my life.”
